Substance Use Counselor – BAART Programs
We are looking for a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our outpatient clinic in Lincoln, NE. The role involves working with patients to assist them through treatment and providing strategies for opioid addiction recovery.
Position Overview As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will conduct individual and group sessions, manage care plans, evaluate progress, and collaborate with medical staff to achieve optimal outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities
Provides counseling and case management services to patients in a substance abuse treatment program.
Keeps accurate records to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
Acts as patients' liaison with the entire program.
Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
Qualifications
Must be licensed in the State of Nebraska for substance abuse counseling.
Applicant must be either provisionally licensed addiction counselor (PLADC) or licensed addiction counselor (LADC).
Potential hire will be supervised by a LIMHP if needing hours for licensure.
Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
