Talent Acquisition Specialist We're looking for a driven and energetic
Talent Acquisition Specialist
to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will lead full-cycle recruitment across North America, playing a key role in building a high-performing, inclusive team that drives our mission forward.
Day in the Life
Lead full‑cycle recruitment: manage sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer processes for roles across North America.
Partner with hiring managers: collaborate with leaders to define role requirements and support them throughout the interview process.
Champion candidate experience: act as the main point of contact for candidates, ensuring a smooth and engaging journey from application to offer.
Maintain recruitment data: keep Workable (ATS) updated with accurate candidate and role information.
Provide regular updates: share weekly status reports on hiring progress and proactively address any roadblocks.
Improve recruitment operations: contribute ideas and feedback to enhance workflows, tools, and candidate engagement strategies.
Collaborate cross‑functionally: work closely with the People & Culture team to ensure process efficiency and a seamless onboarding handoff.
Qualifications
1–3 years of Talent Acquisition experience, ideally in a SaaS or tech startup/scale‑up environment.
Familiarity with modern recruitment practices that create a positive candidate journey.
Ability to build candidate funnels and source talent creatively.
Experience with tools like LinkedIn, ATS platforms (Workable is a plus), and candidate assessments.
Passion for creating an inclusive and engaging candidate experience.
Experience with university recruiting and TA‑focused analytics and reporting.
Exposure to employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies, particularly on social media platforms to boost visibility and engagement.
Basic understanding of employment standards in the US and Canada that impact hiring.
Excellent organization and communication skills; ability to manage multiple roles and candidate communications.
Strong collaboration with hiring managers and the P&C team.
Willingness to travel occasionally and hold a valid passport with no travel restrictions between Canada, the USA, and possibly Vietnam.
Thrives in an agile, constantly changing environment that encourages collaboration and communication.
Desire to be directly involved in projects and initiatives that offer continued learning and opportunities to build leadership skills.
