Life Sciences Account Executive Location: New York/New Jersey territory (remote). This role is part of the Life Sciences Commercial Team and reports to the East Region Sales Manager.
In This Role
Achieve annual product sales goals for the territory while working proactively with regional teams.
Maintain accurate opportunity funnel and customer data in Salesforce (SFDC) independently.
Deliver sales and support assistance, including product demos, installs, and customer training independently.
Sell Advanced Staining, Digital Pathology and Core Histology product lines to life science research labs, biotech, large pharma, CROs, and research institutes.
Manage key accounts and drive sales of Leica Biosystems platforms and workflows across all LBS product verticals.
Drive prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories, using awareness of competitive strategies.
Utilize continuous process improvement through Danaher Business Systems to increase sales and manage key accounts.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a hard science and minimum five years of relevant sales experience.
Proven contract negotiation, high‑level selling experience, key account management, and experience selling in a matrixed environment.
Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software.
Prior capital equipment sales experience.
Must be located in the greater New York City area or New Jersey.
Travel and Other Requirements
Engage in local field travel 50–75% of the time, including overnight stays where applicable.
Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in Life Sciences.
Experience selling to biotech, pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and cancer research centers.

Remote Work This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement. Remote work will be arranged from your home, with details provided during the interview process.
Compensation Annual salary range: $130,000 – $140,000, plus bonus/incentive pay. The range is subject to change.
