Position Summary Standard is seeking a
Director of Asset Management
to oversee the performance of its growing multifamily and industrial portfolio. This is an entrepreneurial role ideal for a hands‑on, growth‑minded professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. The
Director of Asset Management
will develop and execute asset‑level business plans, oversee third‑party property management, and drive financial performance across assigned assets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute asset‑level business plans.
Oversee day‑to‑day performance of multifamily and industrial assets.
Direct third‑party property management and leasing teams.
Execute value‑add business plans, capital improvements, and refinancing initiatives.
Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and quarterly asset reviews.
Collaborate on acquisitions underwriting and due diligence.
Interface with joint venture partners, lenders, and investors.
Qualifications
6–10 years of total experience, with 5+ years of direct multifamily asset management.
Experience with industrial assets a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required;
advanced degree preferred.
Proficiency in Yardi and Excel required, Argus modeling skills a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Self‑starter comfortable in a flat, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment.
Location & Travel In‑office role based in
Los Angeles or Washington, DC , with periodic travel to properties and project partners.
