Job Title: Anesthesia Technician - Perioperative Services - Lexington, KY
Pay and Shift Base pay range: $17.50–$27.31 per hour. Shift: primarily nights.
Job Summary The primary responsibilities for this position include cleaning equipment; assisting with regional blocks; setting up infusion lines, transducers, BAIN Circuit, and attaching noninvasive monitoring devices; assisting with blood specimen collection and delivery of lab specimens; and maintaining sterility.

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year related experience
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified
Knowledge and competence in aseptic techniques for blood collection
Experience in maintenance and repair of anesthesia equipment
Preferred Experience Experience in maintenance and repair of anesthesia equipment and knowledge of aseptic technique.
Physical Requirements This position requires regularly standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; intermittently lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50 pounds; standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and occasionally performing tasks with repetitive motions. The role involves exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste; radiation; burns; cuts/punctures; blood-borne or airborne pathogens; recombinant DNA or viral vectors.
Employment Type and Status Full-time staff position, Grade Level 07.
