The Role We're hiring an exceptional backend engineer who deeply understands crypto infrastructure. You'll build and scale the systems that power our exchange: oracle integrations, subgraph indexing, smart contract event processing, keeper infrastructure, and APIs serving our trading interface.
This role requires someone who can navigate the entire stack—from decoding oracle message signatures and reading blockchain state to building high-performance APIs and data pipelines. You should be comfortable working close to the protocol layer while building systems that handle significant load.
You will own critical infrastructure that directly impacts billions in trading volume.
Required Skills & Experience Must-Have
4+ years backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js
(this is essential)
Deep crypto/Web3 experience:
smart contract interactions, wallet integrations, blockchain data
Hands‑on experience with subgraphs
- writing, deploying, and optimizing
Oracle integration experience:
verifying signatures, processing price feeds, handling data freshness
Reading from smart contracts:
ethers.js/viem/web3.js, ABI decoding, event parsing
Production experience with blockchain RPC providers
(Alchemy, Infura, QuickNode, etc.)
Strong understanding of cryptographic signatures and message verification
Experience building high‑reliability systems with monitoring and alerting
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment
Technical Expertise
Expert‑level TypeScript and modern Node.js patterns
Deep understanding of EVM chains (Ethereum, Arbitrum, etc.)
Experience with GraphQL (subgraphs, Apollo, or similar)
Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, TimescaleDB)
Understanding of blockchain indexing patterns and event processing
API design and performance optimization
Docker and basic DevOps knowledge
Huge Plus (Strongly)
Go/Golang experience
- we're considering Go for performance‑critical services
Background in trading systems or financial infrastructure
Experience with Layer 2 solutions (Arbitrum, Optimism)
Understanding of perpetual futures mechanics and derivatives pricing
Also Valuable
Rust experience (acceptable alternative to Go)
Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
Frontend experience with React/Next.js (full‑stack capability)
