Job Description
AutoZone is seeking a Systems Engineer, experienced in the M365/Collaboration environment The M365/Collaboration Systems Engineer plays a key role in managing and optimizing our Microsoft 365 environment as a member of our End-User Services & Collaboration team. This position focuses on ensuring secure, reliable, and user-friendly collaboration tools through effective administration, automation, and support. Ideal candidates will bring 3–5 years of M365 experience, a passion for modern workplace technologies, and a commitment to improving how teams connect and communicate, delivering key IT initiatives, solving technical problems, and implementing improvements.
Responsibilities
Administer and configure Microsoft 365 services and applications.
Provide technical support and training to end users.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and licenses.
Implement security and compliance policies.
Assist with migrations and integration projects.
Document procedures and maintain knowledge base articles.
Stay updated on new Microsoft 365 features and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently.
Lead governance and lifecycle management for collaboration tools.
Support conferencing technologies and Teams Rooms setups.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science or 5+ years of experience.
Solid knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Flow.
Proficient with PowerShell scripting and Azure AD.
Experience with hybrid environments and identity management (AAD, ADFS, IAM).
Must possess critical thinking skills with the ability to resolve complex business scenarios.
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal abilities, and a customer‑first mindset.
Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-700, MS-203) are a plus.
