Senior Account Executive (SAE) – Grand Rapids, MI Acera Surgical is seeking a result‑driven Senior Account Executive to promote and sell advanced regenerative medical products in the Grand Rapids, MI region. This role focuses on developing new accounts and expanding usage of company products within existing accounts.

Responsibilities

Promote products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers (surgeons and hospitals) to meet or exceed revenue and unit growth objectives.

Develop and implement sales strategies by determining needs of existing and potential accounts to effectively sell the company’s products in the operating room.

Create action plans (weekly, quarterly, monthly) for the territory by analyzing contract access, sales figures and reports to identify trends and opportunities.

Provide product support in the operating room to surgeons and hospital personnel. Focus areas: Lower Extremity, Plastics, Vascular, Orthopedic Trauma and Oncology.

Target events and opportunities to engage multiple surgeons within a specialty with various corporate resources available.

Demonstrate a customer‑first mentality and deliver high‑level customer service.

Respond to customer product/service needs with timely and compliant solutions.

Build and maintain meaningful relationships with decision makers throughout all sites of care to create long‑term customers.

Educate customers on safe and effective use of company products through presentations and demonstrations using various formats.

Collaborate with national accounts and reimbursement teams to support physicians and prescribers.

Provide accurate reporting of sales activities, product inventory, and territory forecasts.

Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive activities; stay knowledgeable of the local market.

Collaborate with direct manager to determine resources needed to achieve sales objectives.

Support trade‑show attendance with surgeons from the territory.

Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. (or equivalent) required.

5+ years of medical device or pharmaceutical outside sales experience.

Sales experience in the operating room (OR) preferred.

Work Environment

Field‑based position with 80‑90% travel within assigned territory.

Must follow appropriate dress code and credentialing requirements, including vaccination requirements.

Must be physically capable of standing for long hours in the operating room during cases.
