Position Purpose Oversees daily operations of the production control activities in an IT environment and develops policies and procedures to ensure the flow of data and operations between or within departments.

Responsibilities

Manages daily operations of production control activities for systems software and hardware, data and applications.

Partners with product teams to define, architect and implement tools to enhance availability, scalability, cost‑efficiency, and performance of the IT environment.

Ensures capacity planning for the IT environment and implements performance metrics and event‑driven alerting.

Provides advanced production support and maintains system management tools.

Leads in the disaster recovery processes/exercises and ensures preventive maintenance activities are carried out to maintain business continuity.

Ensures that major revisions to applications in production are passed after thorough testing and proper documentation according to change management and software development life cycle.

Recommends suitable software solutions and ideas for automating tasks of daily operations.

Documents standard operating procedures and shares frequent progress reports/updates with required stakeholders.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 4–6 years of related experience. Equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of this level of position is acceptable.

Pay Range $73,800.00 – $132,700.00 per year.

Benefits Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401(k), stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, and flexibility for remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Total compensation may also include additional incentive forms. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
