Position Overview The Speech‑Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in accordance with state/federal regulations and facility standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized treatment sessions for patients with communication and swallowing disorders
Develop, implement, and update treatment and discharge plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure quality outcomes
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and ethical practice standards
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program (MS/MA)
Active Maryland SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
CCC‑SLP certification or CFY eligibility
Excellent communication, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills
