Client Accounting & Advisory Senior – CAAS Wilkin & Guttenplan P.C. Base Pay Range $84,000.00/yr – $105,000.00/yr. The exact compensation will depend on skills and experience; please speak with a recruiter for more details.

Job Description As a Senior Accountant in the Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) team, you will oversee day‑to‑day accounting services, coordinate staff activities, and provide financial insight to our clients. You will work in a flexible environment with options for hybrid, fully remote, or in‑office work at our New Jersey location.

Responsibilities

Coordinate service activities and help oversee staff accountants.

Oversee the day‑to‑day accounting services to clients.

Manage general ledger postings and ensure accuracy.

Handle accounts payable oversight, including cash management and bill payment.

Oversee employee expense reimbursement processes.

Review payroll processing and collaborate with clients.

Assist with the preparation and review of the month‑end close process.

Review reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.

Analyze balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.Maintain books in compliance with client expectations and accounting standards (GAAP, income tax cash basis, accrual basis, or other comprehensive basis).

Assist with consolidations and foreign currency translations.

Prepare and review monthly financial reporting including dashboards, KPIs, and narratives.

Implement QuickBooks Online and onboard new clients.

Support the FP&A team with budgeting and forecasting.

Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

CPA license or actively pursuing a CPA license preferred but not required.

3+ years of recent work experience as an accountant in a client accounting department or an outsourced accounting/CFO firm.

Experience with QuickBooks Online required.

Experience with Bill.com and Jirav (FP&A software) preferred but not required.

Knowledge of industries such as technology and SaaS, professional services, real estate, family office, and life sciences preferred.

Proficient in Excel.

Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Salary range for this position is $84,000 – $105,000. Individual salaries are determined by experience, education, licensure, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
