Key Responsibilities
Analytical Testing:
Conduct medium to high complexity testing of drug substances/products using instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV spectrophotometer, dissolution apparatus, pH meter, water activity meter, and Karl Fischer titrators.
Documentation & Compliance:
Record test results in lab notebooks and reports; verify qualification protocols and logbook entries.
Investigations & Quality Support:
Participate in investigations and support deviation and change control processes.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform equipment calibrations and sanitizations; troubleshoot instrument‑related issues.
Lab Operations:
Support media/buffer preparation, cell passages, and general lab housekeeping.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Interact effectively with customers and support teams; coach and develop team members. Monitor workflow to meet turnaround times (TAT), conduct performance reviews, and manage training and succession planning.
Strategic Alignment:
Collaborate with leadership and clients to implement business directives and drive operational improvements.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related field. 10 years of relevant lab experience.
Work Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or need for sponsorship.
Technical & Scientific Skills:
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other IT tools.
Communication & Collaboration:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external clients.
Work Style & Compliance:
Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks. Capable of learning new techniques, maintaining accurate records, and following company policies.
Additional Information
Position is full‑time, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm. Overtime as needed.
