About the Role We’re seeking a
Senior ServiceNow Developer
to join a high-impact team supporting enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to work on meaningful, large-scale projects that directly improve user experience and operational efficiency across a complex organization.
As a senior member of the development team, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and IT best practices. You’ll collaborate closely with business analysts, process owners, and system administrators to ensure the platform’s capabilities are fully leveraged.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations.
Configure and customize workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and APIs.
Participate in technical design reviews and provide guidance on platform architecture and scalability.
Ensure development follows ServiceNow best practices and governance standards.
Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ServiceNow environments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
Assist in upgrading and patching ServiceNow instances, ensuring smooth deployment with minimal disruption.
Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing to junior developers and team members.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
in an enterprise environment.
Strong experience with
ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM modules .
Proficiency in
JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub .
Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via
REST/SOAP APIs .
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and convert them into efficient technical solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Additional certifications (e.g., ITSM Implementation Specialist, Discovery, HRSD) strongly preferred.
Prior experience working in the
public sector or large enterprise
environments.
Candidates located in or near
Utah or surrounding states
will receive preference.
