This full‑time, in‑person contract opportunity seeks two experienced School Psychologists to support K‑12 students in Hayward, CA, during the 2025‑26 school year. One position will serve two elementary schools (TK‑5) and the other a middle school (6‑8). Both roles are vital in providing psychological services that support student success and well‑being within their assigned schools.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students.
Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Develop and implement lower‑level and initial behavior intervention plans.
Provide limited direct counseling services as needed, varying by site.
Collaborate with district psychologists through monthly job‑alike meetings, enhancing professional development and alignment of best practices.
Qualifications and Desired Experience
Credentials and experience as a School Psychologist within K‑12 settings.
Strong skills in conducting evaluations and facilitating IEP meetings.
Ability to independently manage caseloads, with middle school and combined elementary caseloads each encompassing approximately 61 students with IEPs.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to an in‑person work schedule and adaptability to site‑specific hours.
Work Schedule and Location
Middle School hours: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM.
Elementary School hours: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 3:15 PM, depending on site.
Elementary sites: zip codes 95129 and 95014.
Middle school site: zip code 95014.
Assignment duration: November 1, 2025 – June 5, 2026.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $47.88–$67.88 per hour.
