Job Summary The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Finance and Accounting team responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting multiple entities within the restaurant and real estate divisions. This role manages reconciliations, sales tax filings, budgeting, and compliance with GAAP standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at collaborating with operations and leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and manage monthly bank reconciliations in Restaurant365 and QuickBooks Online
Monitor cash flow, process accounts payable payments, and employee reimbursements
Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports and maintain audit documentation
Handle real estate tenant billing, rent adjustments, and vendor payments
Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
Analyze financial data and variances to identify trends and process improvements
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and reporting requirements
Collaborate across Finance, Operations, and Real Estate teams to support decision-making
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required)
3–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP, budgeting, and financial analysis
Proficiency in Restaurant365, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with multi-entity or real estate accounting preferred
Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
