Position Summary: We are seeking a Scrum Master to support Agile delivery teams in the design, testing, and deployment of BHI’s data and analytics solutions. This early-career position will help facilitate Scrum ceremonies, track progress, and support Agile best practices under the guidance of senior Scrum Masters and Project Management leadership.

The Scrum Master will collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Product teams to ensure delivery alignment and transparency. This role provides an opportunity to build Agile delivery skills, learn BHI’s project governance and tools, and contribute to delivering impactful healthcare data products.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in facilitating daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and review meetings for Agile teams.

Support sprint progress tracking and ensure key deliverables are documented in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Collaborating with the PMO and delivery leads to maintain up-to-date status reports, sprint metrics, and burndown charts.

Help identify and elevate blockers, risks, or dependencies impacting sprint goals.

Learn and apply Agile and Scrum principles to improve team delivery efficiency.

Support Agile teams in managing deliverables, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed on schedule.

Partner with senior Scrum Masters and PMO leads to document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Assist in tracking resource allocations, timelines, and milestones for assigned workstreams.

Help ensure Agile ceremonies are conducted efficiently and aligned with BHI’s PMO standards.

Team Collaboration & Communication

Coordinate communication across Data Engineering, QA, and Product teams to ensure alignment on sprint goals.

Prepare and distribute summary reports, sprint notes, and follow-up actions after team meetings.

Support Agile coaches and senior leaders in mentoring teams on process adherence and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Agile processes support BHI’s software development life cycle.

Contribute to Agile process improvement initiatives under guidance from senior leaders.

Maintain and update project templates, dashboards, and documentation to support standardization.

Participate in retrospectives to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for efficiency gains.

Apply feedback and insights to help drive incremental improvements in delivery execution.

Ensure team activities comply with BHI’s project management, data privacy, and SOC 2 requirements.

Support recordkeeping and audit readiness through accurate project documentation.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to internal security responsibilities in all project activities.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of relevant experience in project coordination, Agile delivery, or IT operations (internships or early-career experience considered).

Foundational understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies; certification such as CSM or PSM I preferred.

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.

Basic knowledge of data, software, or cloud development environments preferred.

Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; able to summarize technical topics for broad audiences.

Collaborative mindset, adaptability, and eagerness to learn from experienced Agile practitioners.

Understanding of SOC 2 and secure project management principles a plus.
