Day to day as a Cloud Architect - Mid Level Mission Intelligence Group is looking for a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to join our Enterprise Engineering & Architecture Division. In this role, you will leverage your hands‑on experience across the Systems Engineering & Integration Lifecycle, contributing to a range of enterprise transformation initiatives within GEOINT mission systems. You will collaborate closely with Expert and Senior Systems Engineers and Integrators to conduct essential engineering analyses, such as Architecture Gap Analysis and Enterprise Requirements Analysis, ensuring that modernization efforts are strategically aligned with high‑quality outcomes. Your understanding of IT and cloud‑based technologies will be pivotal in advancing NGA's multiple cloud architecture patterns while participating in cross‑organizational Integrated Project Teams.
You will play a vital role in capturing and translating mission requirements into actionable solutions, driving the integration of project plans and architectures. Required Skills and Experience:

Understanding and demonstrated mid‑level working experience with systems engineering processes (e.g., Architecture, Requirements, Integration, Test, and/or Transition).
Mid‑level working experience in cloud‑based systems architecting.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience/working knowledge of the GEOINT TCPED Architecture (Data Providers, Systems/Services, Interfaces, Data Flows)
Experience with agile project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence
Cloud Certification(s)
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification(s)
Familiarity with multiple cloud concepts
Experience/working knowledge of Platform‑As‑A‑Service (PaaS)
Experience/working knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices
