As a Project Engineer, based in Makó, you will join the Site Engineering team and report to the Project Engineering Manager. You will manage engineering projects from concept to execution, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, while delivering on scope, cost, timing, and regulatory requirements through coordination of partners, design, tendering, and cost/time control.

Main responsibilities

Produce all required project engineering and management documents, for example scope description, cost control, justification, timeplan, risk matrix, change log

Lead projects through Project Gate Process, prepare Concept, Basic and Design Engineering documents for approval

Produce all project relevant concepts in collaboration with subject matter experts, clients, consultants and authorities, EHS, Quality Systems, Operations, Supply Chain

Request supplier offers for equipments and site works, lead tender process, participate in tender analysis and negotiation of contracts with suppliers and contractors.

Produce all required design documents: process design (block diagram, manufacturing flow sheet, P&ID), process risk assessment, dynamic capacity calculation by process, layout and flow analysis, room book with all required specifications of materials, simulation, detailed cost estimate on asset level, project execution plan

Manage project costs with a cost control tool and create purchase orders in SAP systems – recognize cost deviation ahead of time and apply corrective measures.

Manage timing and activities with an adequate time control tool – recognize critical path or delays ahead of time and apply corrective measures. Coordinate all works and services delivered by internal people or contractors

Ensure conformity with food safety (HACCP) and quality management regulations (e.g. FSSC 22000)

During working keep the Food Safety principles in mind and strives to increase food safety awareness in all circumstances

Comply with Health and Safety and Fire protection regulations, with management regulations and other directives

Your professional background includes

More than 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer (preferably in food industry)

Familiar with Engineering design softwares (AutoCad, SolidEdge, SketchUp, or similar)

Knowledge of project management tools

Good IT user knowledge (SAP, PPM, Microsoft Office, Visio, Project)
