This onsite, contract-to-hire position offers the chance to work with leading-edge technologies in enterprise security, including SIEM, vulnerability management tools, and endpoint protection platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or information security
Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, LogRhythm, or similar)
Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (Tenable, Qualys, or Nexpose)
Working knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments
Experience responding to and triaging security incidents
Desired Skills & Experience
Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or GSEC
Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government)
Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure)
Understanding of compliance frameworks like NIST, PCI-DSS, or ISO 27001
What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown:
40% Red Hat Linux
60% Windows Server 2010 & newer
Daily Responsibilities:
70% Hands On (monitoring, tuning, incident response, tool maintenance)
10% Management Duties (reporting, compliance documentation)
20% Team Collaboration (security reviews, cross-team projects)
