Date Available: Immediately Job Description: We are looking for a highly capable Technology Support Specialist to join our on-site team! This position provides technical problem resolution to all District users for computer hardware, software, applications and other technology equipment by performing question/problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions. Support methods vary from incident to incident, requiring user interaction via phone, remote support, ticket system and/or face-to-face. The position is full-time, 1st shift, year-round, Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day. Pay range is $18.47 to $28.01 per hour based on experience and internal equity.
Qualifications: Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required Hands-on experience in technology in public education or private sector highly preferred Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must be cooperative, congenial and customer service oriented Ability to read, write and communicate effectively Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Ability to handle confidential information
