ECU Health Physicians, ECU Health Maynard Children's Hospital, and ECU Health Community Hospitals are expanding and seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join the Outer Banks Health Hospital newborn hospitalist program. Clinical care will be provided at Outer Banks Health Hospital in Nags Head, NC with support provided by the ECU Health's Maynard Children's Hospital in nearby Greenville, NC. New PNP-AC and NNP graduates are encouraged to apply.

ECU Health's Maynard Children's Hospital is the only tertiary facility in eastern North Carolina designed especially for pediatric patients and includes ECMO and pediatric surgery programs.

Highlights include: • Employment by ECU Health Physicians • Hospital privileges at the Outer Banks Health Hospital in Nags Head, NC & ECU Health's Maynard Children's Hospital at ECU Health Medical Center, located Greenville, NC • Growing 9-hospital physician-led healthcare system • Schedule includes (12)- 24 hour unrestricted call shifts at the Outer Banks Health Hospital and 16 days off per month • Clinical responsibilities when providing coverage at the Outer Banks Health Hospital include rounding and coordination of care from admission to discharge for all newborn patients and attendance all at risk deliveries and participation in the resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer of critically ill neonates as needed • Provider will return to ECU Health's Maynard Children's Hospital quarterly for continued competency and skills maintenance with the newborn and NICU teams • Transfer support provided by ECU Health Medical Center • PALS, BLS, and NRP certifications are required • Competitive Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits to include: Administrative Stipend, Relocation, PTO, Malpractice/Tail Coverage, 401k matching/457, Medical, Dental & Vision, Disability & Life Insurance.

Job Requirements include: • NNP-BC, PNP-AC, or Physician Assistant- (At least 2 years of NICU Experience for PA) • NC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or NC licensure as a Physician Assistant • National Board Certification as a Neonatal NP-BC, Pediatric NP-AC, or as PA required, including maintenance • 2+ years of experience in health care setting • Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
