Family Resource Liaison
with
Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC) , you'll make a real difference by supporting families through services, outreach, and programs that strengthen relationships and build resiliency.
You'll work on an
as-needed, community-based schedule , sometimes stepping in with short notice - making this role ideal for someone who values variety, purpose, and people-centered work. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
In this role, you'll ensure families receive the care, connection, and community support they deserve. You will: Provide
supervised visitation services
that foster a safe, nurturing environment for children and families. Support the
Family Resource Center (FRC)
team with community-based activities, including classes, workshops, and support groups. Participate in
community outreach
such as resource fairs, family engagement events, and other public activities. Connect families to
community resources
that promote healthy child development and family well-being. Assist with
administrative tasks
such as data entry, scheduling, documentation, and communication with families and partners. Encourage
positive parent-child interactions , empowering parents to build confidence and advocacy for their families. Administer
hearing, vision, and developmental screenings . Respond to requests for coverage with flexibility, including some evenings and weekends. WHO YOU ARE?

You also bring: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A calm, patient demeanor when working with children and parents. The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care. Flexibility to adjust to different family needs and program demands. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education/Background
High School Diploma or GED and two years of related experience Experience working with children and families preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on program needs. Willingness to work on an on-call basis with short notice at times. Experience in family support coordination or resource navigation services preferred Must be at least 21 years of age Level One Fingerprint clearance or ability to obtain fingerprint clearance within 60 days of employment Complete CPR and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire and maintain the certifications Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to promote clear understanding Bilingual in English and Spanish desirable (will consider other languages) What does CPLC offer YOU as a valued employee?
