Role Summary

The Head of Lifecycle Marketing will lead the strategy and execution of full-funnel marketing programs designed to drive customer acquisition, convert retail users into subscribers, and build long-term loyalty. This role oversees campaign management, CRM, and media activation across digital and offline channels to optimize the customer journey. This leader will work closely with cross-functional partners in Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to deliver measurable growth in membership and maximize lifetime value in a rapidly expanding multi-unit car retail business.

Key Responsibilities Design and own the lifecycle marketing strategy, including acquisition, conversion, retention, and win-back campaigns. Lead campaign planning and execution across full-funnel media, CRM, and direct channels (email, SMS, app push, direct mail, etc.). Optimize conversion of retail/one-time users into subscription members through targeted programs, promotions, and nurture campaigns. Manage and expand loyalty initiatives to deepen member engagement and extend customer tenure. Oversee segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies in partnership with analytics and digital product teams. Partner with external agencies and vendors to ensure best-in-class execution across paid media and lifecycle campaigns. Collaborate with Finance and Revenue Strategy teams to evaluate ROI, LTV, and promotional effectiveness. Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights to leadership. Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in lifecycle and subscription marketing. Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of lifecycle marketing specialists. Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years focused on lifecycle, CRM, or subscription marketing. Proven track record driving customer acquisition, conversion, and retention in subscription or membership businesses. Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and digital media channels. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret campaign performance data into actionable recommendations. Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Preferred:

Master's degree (MBA or related discipline). Experience in multi-unit retail, automotive services, or consumer subscription industries. Familiarity with martech ecosystems (CDP, CRM, loyalty platforms, referral engines). Experience working in high-growth, private-equity-backed environments. Core Competencies

This position requires approximately 10-20% travel. Travel may include regional and national trips for site visits, vendor meetings, or leadership presentations. Occasional evening or weekend travel may be required.
