The Material Processing Manufacturing Engineering Department specializes in developing and supporting assembly methods, materials, and cutting-edge processes for microwave and mmWave products. You will collaborate with various engineering and operations teams to improve production methods and resolve technical issues. This is a second shift position. What You Will Do: Provide on-site support for low-volume, high-mix production, addressing factory equipment, process, material, and product issues with a data-driven approach. Develop new product builds, often requiring innovative solutions for automated equipment and next-generation designs. Ensure compliance with product quality standards (e.g., J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, IPC). Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity by leveraging new technologies and materials. Communicate technical information effectively across multiple disciplines. Qualifications You Must Have: High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent) with at least four years of relevant experience. Experience in manufacturing or operations. U.S. citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surface mount technology (SMT), microelectronics, and automated assembly. Experience in process development and qualification. Able to work in a cleanroom environment for extended periods. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and knowledge of material properties. Able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team. Self-motivated and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
