Work Unit Receiving and Stores
Work Schedule 7:00 am- 4:00 pm; Monday through Friday.
Primary Purpose of Position Warehouse operations staff are responsible for the proper handling and routing of any inbound and outbound freight and merchandise. They are tasked with properly handling all surplus property and performing the functions related to its processing.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency.
Essential Job Duties
Deliver vendor orders as applicable to campus departments Pick up and deliver surplus property as required by campus end-using departments Organize and stage surplus property in the warehouse to maintain a neat work environment Update systems and maintain records as required and directed by management Assist in the annual verification of fixed asset inventories completed by campus departments Interact with vendors and customers as required to answer questions and provide a high level of customer service
Other Work Responsibilities
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Warehouse experience with maintaining records, receiving goods, delivering goods, and storing material. Basic computer experience with Microsoft and its applications Strong organizational skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail
