SYNOPSIS OF COMPANY/POSITION

We are seeking a highly skilled TIG/MIG Welder to join our sheet metal fabrication team in the Houston, TX 77041 area. This position requires an experienced welder capable of producing precise, high-quality welds on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel materials. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading fabrication drawings, interpreting welding symbols, and understanding metal movement and heat control to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG and MIG welding on sheet metal components and assemblies

·

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements accurately

·

Understand and compensate for metal movement, warping, and distortion during welding

·

Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance

·

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

·

Must be proficient in both TIG and MIG welding

·

Experience working in a sheet metal or fabrication environment

·

Strong understanding of metal behavior and heat control

·

Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player

·

Ability to read and measure with calipers accurately.

·

Attention to detail and ability to produce precise, high-quality welds.
