MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION

3 years of experience in

avionics troubleshooting,

not avionics installers.

Tools - list + etch/shadow requirements in files

Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals

Corporate experience highly preferred

Highly preferred:

FCC/GROL License

NCATT/AET Certification

FAA A&P License

Military qualifications

Week 1 – Responsibilities / Expectations / Culture / Environment

Be familiar with all the tool requirements and provided an overview of the procedure - PLEASE go through this with candidates prior to orientation

Tools must be shadowed and organized prior to start to be able to hit ground running day 1 of orientation

PowerPoint and copy of tool inventory/check sheet are provided in files

JOB DESCRIPTION – FORMATTED TO BE SHARABLE

Adhere to general work requirements

Repair, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment with limited supervision

Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form

Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required

Operate ground support equipment

Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift, forklift, etc.)

Comply with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.

Participate in 5-S activities.

Perform work in a safe and timely manner

Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools Read and understand electrical engineering drawings

Perform aircraft inspections with appropriate oversight

Basic PC skills
