About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operationalize advanced software capabilities supporting mission-critical operations in secure environments. In this role, you will collaborate with analysts, operators, and engineers to translate complex requirements into scalable, automated solutions that improve efficiency, enhance reliability, and deliver real-world impact. This is a hands-on development role in a dynamic environment where you will own solutions from design to deployment and long-term sustainment. You will apply deep Java expertise along with modern software engineering practices to advance high-priority security initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop secure, high-performance applications integrated with existing mission systems Build and maintain microservices and APIs using modern Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Quarkus, Micronaut) Implement automation and Infrastructure-as-Code for reliable deployments and system resilience Enhance system reliability through monitoring, observability, and health reporting improvements Continuously modernize software stacks to align with evolving mission and technology requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, production-ready solutions Required Qualifications
Active
TS/SCI clearance (with Full Scope Polygraph) Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience) Proven software engineering experience in secure, mission-focused environments Expertise in Java (8 or later) with experience building production systems Familiarity with Linux environments, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Version control experience with Git-based workflows Knowledge of software architecture best practices including modular design and feature flagging Nice to Have
Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or data processing Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Whats on Offer?
