Principal Solutions Architect

Job Description Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug customer architecture, solutions, and migration programs for the OCI Containers, Kubernetes, and Serverless (CKS) service portfolio. Partner with customers, sales, and engineering teams to create solutions that address business problems and accelerate adoption of OCI. This role requires self‑motivation, a proven technical track record in the cloud industry, and a strategic mindset to navigate the intersection of technology and business.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic guidance and lead rapid customer and partner adoption of CKS services.
Collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to drive successful client engagements across OCI.
Stay at the forefront of technological advancements and guide the adoption of cutting‑edge solutions.
Present solutions to customers and partners at all levels, from engineers to CxO, explaining transformational concepts and influencing technology strategy.
Drive lighthouse wins, develop scalable adoption programs, and identify repeatable solutions to solve customer challenges.
Develop a passion for educating, training, and enabling cloud solutions experts for diverse customer needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Container Services or cloud‑native Solutions Architect with a proven record of implementations.
Deep expertise in cloud platforms, with specialization in Oracle Cloud and Amazon Web Services.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Extensive track record of leading technical initiatives with large enterprise customers.
Experience with Kubernetes and Serverless is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
US salary range: $96,800 – $223,400 per year, with potential bonus and equity.
