This is a hands‑on role for a trial‑ready litigator who’s passionate about advocacy and driven to deliver real results for injured clients. Associate Trial Attorney - What You'll Do
Represent personal injury clients in District and Superior Court throughout all stages of litigation
Handle pleadings, discovery, arbitration, mediation, and trial preparation
Analyze case details to assess liability, damages, and legal strategy
Conduct depositions, manage expert collaboration, and oversee discovery
Draft persuasive legal briefs and deliver effective courtroom arguments
Communicate with clients throughout the litigation process with clarity and empathy
Identify opportunities to enhance litigation workflows and increase team efficiency
Associate Trial Attorney - Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school
Active license in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar
2+ years of plaintiff‑side litigation experience in North Carolina
Admission to the South Carolina Bar is a plus
Proven ability to manage a litigation docket independently
Strong written and verbal advocacy skills
Client‑centered approach with excellent interpersonal skills
Courtroom confidence and strategic legal thinking
