Software Engineer-Developer - TS/SCI with Security Clearance

Job Title: Software Engineer-Developer Location: El Segundo CA Pay: $70-75/hr (competitive) Job Description: The selected candidate will perform full stack development using the AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience working across the tech stack with a solid understanding of software architecture, infrastructure tooling, and engineering fundamentals. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design and implement scalable software solutions, ensure engineering excellence, and achieve program objectives. Position Responsibilities * Lead the development, test, and maintenance of applications that meet industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards * Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial design of software products * Coordinate the development, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of software products and functionalities for systems integrations * Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products * Participate in the agile software development lifecycle including planning, reviews, and supporting customer meetings * Debug and resolve issues identified to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products * Handle user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and analyze user feedback * Research and implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development * Develop, establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks * Execute and document software research and development projects * Consult on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations * Manage software project activities and supplier management functions * Track and evaluate software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process compliance to project plans and industry standards Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) * This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) * 3 years of experience with JavaScript and/or Typescript * 3 years of experience in Python * Experience with software architecture principles and design patterns * Experience with software development using agile principles and a structured development process * Bachelor's degree within a STEM field from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science * 7 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Experience with React, Django, Flask, and FastAPI * Experience with Infrastructure Tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) * Experience leading an agile software development team * Experience with relational databases * Experience with building out regression test suites For immediate consideration please click APPLY or send resume to .
