Position Summary: The Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing field installation of electrical systems on commercial new construction projects. This position manages crews, coordinates daily work activities, ensures compliance with project specifications and safety standards, and communicates progress with project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a crew of electricians and apprentices on commercial job sites.
Plan, schedule, and assign daily tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and equipment needs with project managers.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations.
Perform quality control inspections on completed work.
Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and job progress.
Provide on-site training and mentorship for apprentices and journeymen.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience; at least 2 years in a leadership or foreman role.
Current Florida Journeyman or Master Electrician license .
Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial installation methods.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and construction drawings.
Proven ability to manage schedules, crews, and materials effectively.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification .
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Must have a great work ethic and have all your own tools and safety PPE gear.***
