Python Developer with Security Clearance

Python Software Developer Location: Work Type: Full Time Job Description: GridIron IT is seeking a Python Software Developer with an Active Top Secret (SCI Eligible) Clearance to support our AWS environment. The qualified candidate must have an active TS security clearance, and will work hand-in-hand with technical and program management leadership to implement the next generation desktop and web based production and dissemination system. This position will require an experienced developer to help enable NGA's Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) mission collecting sciences, technology and tradecraft measuring and modeling the Globe to provide three-dimensional accuracy of every point in, on, or above the Earth. Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities will involve coding, developing, integrating, and debugging software artifacts; writing validation tests against existing baselines to ensure integrity of the code during Agile development efforts; assisting with unit testing; programming; and developing in Python. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 4+ years of prior relevant experience; Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post-hire Proficient in software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services). Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Strong experience coding in Python Experience using GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and resource management Experience using Docker to package and run applications Experience with Web-related protocols and technologies, such as web servers,

SSL Familiar with AWS/Cloud technologies Previous experience supporting the NGA customer. Proficient in AWS/Cloud technologies Certification in AWS or Python programming Clearance: Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs.
