What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Identify workflow and business process requirements, including documentation, testing, and training
Conduct risk assessments and gather technical knowledge of security/compliance requirements
Develop and implement solutions for security problems across various platforms
Monitor and report project status to management, addressing complex issues as they arise
Support information systems development and advise on risks associated with new technologies
What is Required (Qualifications):
BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of information security experience
3+ years of experience with networking, intrusion detection, VPN, PKI, firewalls, and identity management
Hands‑on knowledge of UNIX/AIX, Microsoft NT/2000, and network protocols and services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with CISSP, GIAC, CCNA, or CCNP certifications
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and evaluate security products
Self‑motivated with strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
Experience in defining Information Security strategy and integrating security technologies
Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergent problems
