Construction Project Engineer

Responsibilities
Manage procurement, purchasing, and supply chain coordination.
Track project financials and support budget adherence.
Coordinate logistics and vendor communication to ensure timely material delivery.
Assist with RFIs, submittals, and schedule tracking using tools like P6 or MS Project.
Interpret shop drawings and support construction sequencing.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Support project managers and field teams with technical documentation and reporting.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
2–5 years of experience in construction or manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in Navisworks, Bluebeam, Excel, and scheduling tools (P6 or MS Project).
Strong understanding of construction processes, including steel, heavy equipment, and general sequencing.
Experience with purchasing coordination and material logistics.
Experience in project management, engineering, or construction is required.
Familiar with financial oversight on projects including budgeting, estimating, approving change orders, and cost tracking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with a major mechanical subcontractor, primarily with HVAC systems, is highly preferred.

Technically Proficient: Solid foundation in construction principles and tools.

You will work with one of the largest mechanical contractors in Seattle to support large data‑center projects. The environment is fast‑paced and dynamic, perfect for those who value efficiency and innovation.
Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
