Project Engineer – Offsite Manufacturing, Seattle, WA
Join a dynamic Offsite Manufacturing team in Seattle as a Project Engineer. You will develop and manage project plans, schedules, and scopes of work in a fast‑paced environment. Your contribution will make an immediate impact on large data‑center projects that rely on major mechanical contractors.
Responsibilities
Manage procurement, purchasing and supply‑chain coordination.
Track project financials and support budget adherence.
Coordinate logistics and vendor communication to ensure timely material delivery.
Assist with RFIs, submittals and schedule tracking using tools such as P6 or MS Project.
Interpret shop drawings and support construction sequencing.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Support project managers and field teams with technical documentation and reporting.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering or equivalent field experience.
2–5 years of experience in construction or manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in Navisworks, Bluebeam, Excel and scheduling tools (P6 or MS Project).
Strong understanding of construction processes, including steel, heavy equipment and general sequencing.
Experience with purchasing coordination and material logistics.
Experience in project management, engineering or construction is required.
Familiar with financial oversight on projects including budgeting, estimating, approving change orders and cost tracking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with a major mechanical subcontractor, primarily HVAC systems, is highly preferred.

Work Environment This position is based in an office in Seattle with no onsite work required. You will support large data‑center projects with one of the largest mechanical contractors in the city.
Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay And Benefits Pay range: $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
