Overview
truData is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to support and maintain its direct client’s SAP landscape hosted on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Windows Server and Linux environments, with deep hands‑on experience managing SAP Basis operations, performance tuning, and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain SAP systems across development, QA, and production landscapes.
Perform system refreshes, client copies, transports, kernel upgrades, and patch management.
Ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability of SAP systems hosted on Azure.
Manage and troubleshoot SAP instances on Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to resolve system issues promptly.
Maintain security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures in line with standards.
Support change and release management processes.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of SAP Basis Administration experience.
Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure and cloud‑hosted SAP systems.
Experience with SAP installation, configuration, and performance optimization.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP HANA and S/4HANA system administration experience.
Familiarity with Azure monitoring and automation tools.
SAP certifications a plus.
