The EY wavespaces play a vital role in our Digital Strategy, facilitating engagement with clients and serving as a cutting-edge network for collaboration. With approximately 50 wavespaces globally, we help our clients navigate disruptive forces in today’s digital landscape.
The EY Wavespace AV/Technology Support Specialist will serve as the primary on-site support for meetings and events within their designated area. This role is essential in ensuring seamless technology operations, delivering exceptional client service, and fostering strong relationships with regional teams and the Global Event Enablement group.
Your key responsibilities
Provide on-site and off-site support for wavespace functions and meetings, with a comprehensive understanding of network infrastructure and EY’s internal technology landscape. Assist in deploying, configuring, and testing hardware and software solutions for end users. Manage provisioning and de-provisioning processes for hardware/software related to wavespace support. Coordinate repairs and software reinstalls for end-user and lab hardware, ensuring functionality of AV technologies. Support various technology applications including MURAL, Miro, Slido, and AV components such as Planar video walls and HD projectors. Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of specialized equipment including MS Surface Hubs and various audio-visual systems. Provide operating system support at an intermediate level for Windows and Apple Mac OS. Maintain on-site servers for event use and assist in analyzing network issues. Communicate effectively with vendors to ensure quality service delivery. Track and resolve incidents in the Ticket Management System, identifying trends to mitigate technical problems. Be prepared to provide after-hours support for escalated issues. What you will bring
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a computer-related field. Experience:
3-5 years of AV/end user technology support experience, including event support and live event management. Certifications:
Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or related certifications preferred. Skills:
