Technician IV Onsite Location: Maple Grove, MN (No Relocation Assistance) US Citizenship & Residency Required No 1099, No third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry) W2 Hourly Contract with limited benefits $30.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE based on location ***No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099- US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED*** Seeking a Technician in Maple Grove, MN to perform work using assembly drawings, shop aids, schematics, and detailed work instructions. Must be able to understand and work from engineering drawings and sketches, and be able to follow written and verbal work instructions. Be able and willing to work additional hours when required, including weekends. Qualifications Required: * US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a clearance * High school/trade school or equivalent and 3 years work experience or equivalent experience in a precision manufacturing environment
* Independently assemble electromechanical and/or electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering and/or development documentation. * Previous experience using hand tools. * Must be able to up to 50 lb. * Ability to diagnose problems and see the solutions through to completion. * Detail, safety, and quality oriented. * Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn new software applications
* Must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills. * Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems
Preferred Experience and Education: * Active Secret Clearance * Experience working as a technician in an Aerospace or Defense Product Environment
* Understanding of 3D CAD software
* Basic understanding of GD&T Principles
Responsibilities * Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive developmental assembly operations of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies on ordnance systems * Performs a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components.
