Be among the first 25 applicants. We provide programs and support services for patients, families, caregivers, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. Outside the federal government, the Alzheimer’s Association is the largest research funder in the country and offers advocacy opportunities to make public policy change.
At the Alzheimer’s Association, diversity and inclusion are vital to our mission. The Association leads strategic initiatives to support diversity and a culture of inclusivity. These initiatives strengthen outreach to all populations, providing communities with resources and support to address the Alzheimer’s crisis. By partnering with organizations locally and nationally to advance diversity and inclusion, we broaden our reach in all communities.
Secure sponsorships to meet or exceed the annual sponsorship goal.
Sell tables/tickets and engage friends, colleagues, and business contacts.
Lead by example: make a leadership gift during Fund‑A‑Need and encourage guests to do the same.
Give / get commitment

Table/ticket sales
Additional gifts before the event
Fund‑A‑Need contributions (self and guests)
Event participation: attend the gala and purchase a table.
Meetings: join monthly planning meetings (more frequent closer to event).
Stewardship: thank and engage a portfolio of 20+ guests/donors.
Post‑event debrief: participate in feedback and improvement discussions.
Recruitment: help bring in new committee members.
