Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Proficient in electrical CAD systems preferably Eplan Electrical P8 Version 2023 to design electrical control panels power distribution controls system cabling / wiring and instrumentation
Professional experience selecting proper circuit protectors disconnect wire and cable sensors safety hardware PLC hardware system modules contactors relays variable frequency drives servo systems safety components and other key electrical control components
Knowledge of Electrical Standards such as NFPA 79 National Electric code IEC 60204-1 & UL508 and Safety standards such as ISO 13849-1 & ISO 12100
Familiarity with Siemens Beckhoff and Allen-Bradley control systems and components
Familiarity with EtherCat FSoE ProfiNet and ProfiSafe Field BUS
Ability to read process and instrumentation diagrams to create electrical design and schematic
Ability to work within a team environment at times leading providing guidance and instruction to other team members and actively participate in group meetings
