Position Summary: The Strategic Sourcing Specialist plays a vital role in supporting daily sourcing and negotiation efforts across EG’s non-merchandise categories—including IT, Operations, Marketing, HR, Finance, Facilities, and Construction. This role involves conducting financial and market analyses, managing competitive RFx events, and supporting supplier negotiations to secure agreements that maximize cost savings, mitigate risks, and enhance service quality for our organization. Responsibilities: Draft and manage RFx events using EG's eSourcing application (Market Dojo) Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop statements of work (SOWs) and gather necessary project requirements Ensure RFx events and project timelines are adhered to, proactively communicating risks that may cause delays Assist with proposal evaluations, develop total cost of ownership (TCO) models, conduct should-cost analyses, and summarize scenarios for negotiation strategies and award recommendations Analyze category spend, usage patterns, volumes, and budget data to identify savings opportunities and demand levers Track and report project savings for leadership review Coordinate efforts with Legal, Finance, and other partners to facilitate contract approval and execution Working Relationships: Engage with external vendors and collaborate with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, IT, HR, and more. Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or related field. Preferred Education: Advanced degree in a related discipline is a plus but not mandatory. Minimum Experience: 0-2 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, finance, consulting, or data analytics roles. Preferred Experience: 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, finance, consulting, or data analytics roles. Licenses/Certifications: Certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) is beneficial but not required. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented and collaborative spirit Strong analytical and financial modeling aptitudes; adept at navigating large datasets Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized; capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Office/O365 (advanced Excel and PowerPoint) Familiarity with reporting applications such as MS PowerBI Proactive problem solver who identifies data gaps and suggests practical solutions Adaptable to change; responsive to new processes, systems, and stakeholder needs High integrity and sound judgment; maintains confidentiality appropriately Other Requirements: Travel:

Typically, Monday to Friday, 8-hour days in an office environment; may work from home one day per week with prior approval. Physical Requirements:
