The Institutional Product Group develops a comprehensive suite of products for institutional customers ranging from Hedge Funds (Coinbase Prime) to experienced individual traders (Coinbase Advanced Trade) and more. Our suite includes Prime - Custody Only, Prime Web3 Wallet, Commerce, and Exchange. Whether it's trading, staking, governance, custody, web3 operations, or API integrations, Coinbase Institutional has solutions for every need. The Prime Product Experiences Team is dedicated to designing intricate and engaging UIs—such as Trading UIs, Transfers Flow UIs, and more—that enhance the experience for our Institutional clients. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to create world-class experiences. We're looking for frontend engineers proficient in developing UI/UX components who are passionate about customer experience, performance, testability, and analytics. Key Responsibilities: Design secure, reliable services to integrate with blockchains and introduce new cryptocurrency assets across Coinbase's platforms. Create UI components for mobile and web using TypeScript, React, and React Native. We utilize Linaria for styling, Percy for visual regression testing, Storybook for component development, and Docusaurus for documentation. Enhance digital currency applications by adding functionalities to existing cryptocurrencies (such as staking and voting). Develop infrastructural services for secure asset transfer and accounting. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership to translate our vision into actionable quarterly goals. Bring positivity to meetings, fostering inclusivity in all interactions. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years in software engineering, with 4+ years focused on web app development and user-facing feature delivery using JavaScript and modern frameworks like React. Experience in delivering user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks. Knowledge of front-end architecture trends and best practices, particularly in performance, security, and usability. Familiarity with product and design workflows, collaborating effectively with designers, engineers, and product managers. Proficient in writing high-quality, well-tested code tailored to customer needs. Preferred Skills: Experience on front-end teams in finance or security sectors. At least 1 year of experience in developing React Native mobile applications or transitioning native apps to React Native. Compensation:

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD.
