Job Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification for an acute care setting utilizing Epic and Sectra PACS. Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based radiology MRI department with two scanners at the main location and three additional at outpatient clinics Performs a range of imaging including brain, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, cardiac, prostate, MSK, and imaging of patients with implanted devices Shift is 12 hours, Saturday through Monday from 08:30 to 21:00 Holiday rotation and standby call participation required Coverage in other areas may be needed based on operational demands Uses GE 1.5T & 3T MRI at the main hospital and Philips/Hitachi MRI at outpatient sites Epic EMR and Sectra PACS are utilized Average of 28 MRI studies per day Radiology aides assist MRI technologists; radiologist is on-site Orientation is provided upon hire Personal scrubs required; hospital scrubs provided only to OR staff Participation in the department's holiday rotation is expected May be required to work across main hospital and outpatient clinics as needed Training on department-specific equipment and safety procedures included Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent MRI technologist experience Current ARRT certification required; ARRT(MR) preferred Washington State Radiologic Technologist license required if not ARRT(MR) via the primary pathway Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required IV insertion skills necessary Experience with MRI Cardiac and Breast/Breast Biopsy MRI encouraged N95 fit testing required License required if applicable Benefits ~ High Pay and Bonuses ~ Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options ~401(k) Plan ~ Weekly Payroll Deposit ~ Free Online CEUs ~ Generous Housing Allowance ~ Travel and Licensure Reimbursements ~ Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy ~ Traveler Rewards and Discounts
