Senior Network Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description TEKsystems is seeking a Systems / Network Engineer in Dahlgren, VA. Responsible for maintaining multiple computing environments by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance, and managing network configuration consistency. The Systems/Network Engineer will provide engineering, design, and implementation solutions for multiple network architectures. Responsibilities: - Implement local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, & other data networks. - Experience with network routers and switch configuration experience. Environment includes Artysen, Cisco, Mellanox and Asante switches. - Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance. o Perform network modeling and analysis. - Define diagrams and designs for business technology initiatives. - Enforce policies for standardizing systems. Requirement so Three years of experience in networking, IT, or other related fields preferred o Familiarity with researching communication networks - Must have strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills o Strong attention to detail, good documentation skills, ability to write clear, concise project reports - Ability to function with minimal instruction or supervision, or as a part of larger team reporting to formal project Top Skills' Details .IAT Level II Cert and Interim or Active Top Secret Clearance .Experience within layers 2-3 of the OSI model, network management software, Vlans, OSPF . Familiarity with models of TACLANES-Which models? Have they done any standard maintenance? . 8+ years of Networking experience -Nice to have is BGP/IPV6 experience and solid 3-4 layer experience, Openstack experience
