AFSS, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, provides systems engineering, software engineering, system integration, and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ground Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Service (GMASS) program. Key Responsibilities:
Design, analyze, plan, modify, and maintain networks supporting data, voice, and audio communication activities. Analyze capacity needs for switching, routing, transmission, and signaling. Conduct network architecture design, feasibility, and performance studies. Evaluate new technologies and provide specifications and schematics for network architecture. Assist in hardware and software selection to meet current and future capacity needs. Test network systems and maintain expertise in network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluate and report on new network technologies to enhance capabilities. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years, or PhD/JD with 4+ years. Active Secret clearance. Current Security+ CE certification. Ability to lift equipment up to 40 pounds. Availability to work after hours and on weekends as needed. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR). Additional Details:
