Position Summary The Finance Coordinator provides direct support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and serves as a key liaison between the Corporate Finance, Business Affairs, and Operations departments. This role combines traditional administrative duties with high-level financial coordination, data management, and analytical work that informs strategic and operational decisions across the studio. The Finance Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining development budget accuracy, managing companywide expense systems, and supporting executive presentations and strategic initiatives.

Core Responsibilities Administrative & Executive Support

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CFO: scheduling, travel coordination, routing calls and signatures, and other executive‑level tasks as required.

Draft memos, reports, and sensitive communications.

Format, watermark, and lock NDAs and financial documents for external distribution.

Generate Zoom/Teams links, manage calendar invites, and organize meeting logistics.

Support the team with other administrative tasks on an as‑needed basis.

Development Budget Tracking & Reporting

Maintain and update the studio’s development spending tracker across domestic scripted, international, and film divisions.

Lead monthly cost report reviews with department heads, revising projections and updating deal terms as necessary.

Track network reimbursements, invoicing timelines, and reflect closed deal terms into the tracker.

Conduct analyses on development spending patterns as requested (e.g., pitch vs. script, IP vs. original) to inform development strategy.

Financial Systems & Expense Management

Serve as the Concur Administrator for all employee reimbursements, expense report approvals, and system inquiries (50+ employees).

Onboard new hires into Concur, circulate instructions for submitting expense reports, and manage approval workflows.

Review and approve expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policy; collaborate with HR and Accounting to resolve exceptions.

Manage monthly reconciliation and reporting for Accounting, including journal entry backup preparation.

Act as primary point of contact for corporate Amex management—card creation, activation, fraud reporting, and coding requests.

Coordinate with Operations and Accounting to ensure all Amex transactions are properly coded and aligned with internal expense policies.

Presentation & Deck Creation

Develop decks and visual reports for senior leadership, including board presentations, investor decks, and corporate strategy initiatives.

Prepare professional presentations for external stakeholders.

Support qualitative updates and memo writing for quarterly board meetings, creating a first pass for the CFO.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or similar field required.

MBA preferred.

Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Airtable, and Concur; strong PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Canva design skills.

Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and discretion handling sensitive financial information.

Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Interest in the business side of the entertainment industry is a plus.
