Technical Support Analyst (Hybrid Position)

Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer the Google Chrome Management Console for all GDC and GCI devices and users, including Gmail, Calendar, Groups, Shared Mailboxes, and Google Sites.
Monitor domain metrics such as usage, storage, security, and file sharing via the Admin Console.
Configure, deploy, and update Chromebooks, extensions, and educational applications.
Enforce device and user policies (content filters, sign-in restrictions, and security settings).
Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for Chrome OS, Google Workspace, and instructional technology tools.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Collaborate with instructional technology teams to ensure compatibility with digital learning platforms.
Maintain accurate inventory records of devices and peripherals.
Develop and maintain documentation including user guides and troubleshooting steps.
Analyze support trends to recommend process improvements.
Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with updates and security standards.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2 years of IT support or systems administration experience, preferably in an educational or institutional environment.
Hands‑on experience with Google Workspace for Education and Chrome OS device management.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Google Admin Console, Chrome Management Console, and Google Workspace tools.
Working knowledge of Apple device management and Mac OS support.
Experience with device imaging, policy configuration, and remote management tools.
Familiarity with network connectivity, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, and endpoint security.
Experience supporting web‑based applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to translate technical issues into user‑friendly explanations.
Highly organized with strong documentation and follow‑up practices.
Customer service–oriented with a collaborative mindset.
Qualifications
Google Certified IT Support Professional or Google Certified Administrator.
Experience managing large‑scale Chromebook deployments.
Familiarity with content filtering tools and device compliance reporting.
Working Conditions
Standard office and/or hybrid work environment.
Travel required across Georgia (some in correctional facilities with escort).
Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
