Full Time Lecturer of Management/HR 2+2 AHC
California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Orfalea College of Business, Management/HR Area, invites applications for full-time lecturer in Management/HR beginning January 5, 2026. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of high-quality teaching in the following areas: management, organizational behavior, international management, human resource management, industrial relations, business strategy and policy. Assignments will be contingent upon budget and enrollments.
Primary duties and responsibilities
include teaching courses in Management/HR and coordination for the Cal Poly – Allan Hancock College 2+2 Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management/HR program. Teaching includes courses primarily taught at the Allan Hancock College campus in Santa Maria and as needed at the San Luis Obispo campus. Program coordination includes curriculum development/implementation, scheduling/enrollment management, student support/retention, program marketing/recruitment.
Education and Salary Lecturer A : $5,507-$6,677.
Lecturer B : $6,221-$13,224.
Lecturer C : $6,825-$14,523.
Lecturer D : $8,593-$15,211.

Special Conditions The person holding this position is considered a ‘mandated reporter’ under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
Following a conditional offer of employment, a background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate may start work with Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
