Overview
Corporate Financial Analyst role at Ingram Micro in Irvine, California with the potential for hybrid work (a couple of remote days per week). This entry-level position is responsible for preparing, developing, and distributing reports to leadership and internal customers. It supports the periodic forecasting process and the annual budget, including data consolidation and in-depth review and analysis. The role is highly visible and will interact cross-functionally with various executive leaders, often through special projects. What You Will Be Doing
Prepare, maintain, validate, and enhance a variety of periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) reports in Excel and/or a financial reporting tool for use in strategic and financial decision-making. Perform trend and sensitivity analysis on income statement and balance sheet components during forecast and budget cycles to understand company performance. Collaborate with country/regional leads across multiple time zones to ensure on-time, complete, and accurate forecast/budget submissions. Work with Financial Systems and other Business Partners to develop and implement new features within financial reporting, including dashboards. Create reports and presentations using technology and visualization tools to summarize data into actionable information. Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure reporting systems are properly set up for month-end and forecasting activities. Support ad hoc projects and reporting aligned with company-wide strategic initiatives, including standardization efforts and AI/ML-driven solutions. Analyze worldwide economic health, macroeconomic conditions, market share, trends, and industry indicators. Education and Experience
BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent required 0 – 2 years minimum finance experience required Ability to model, analyze, and report financially using Excel, PowerPoint and related tools (charts, tables, slides, formulas) Ability to work in a high-volume, dynamic, rapid-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills What Will Separate You From Others
Experience in Excel modeling, variance analysis, interpretation of data, and understanding of business drivers behind financial results Curiosity to question the status quo and drive scalable changes Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills across all management levels Experience with analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI, Stata, and Tableau The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $58,800.00 - $94,100.00 per year.
